Downs Hotel Brighton

The hotel value for money is superb, with reasonable prices and attention to detail. The location is very convenient, close to the Racecourse park & ride, bus stop, and the stunning South Downs national park. The room was newly refurbished to a very high standard, with a comfortable bed and amazing bathroom. Breakfast was included and served with hot freshly baked Danish pastries and good hot coffee.

It was all superb.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The room was clean, tidy, cosy, and well-decorated. The four poster bed was a nice touch. The staff were friendly, cute, and were pretty good too accommodate us. They even helped us book a room at a better rate when we got stuck in the snow. The Sunday roast and dessert were delicious and great value for money. The breakfast, cooked to order, was a must-try, especially the full English. The hotel is situated with lovely views, especially if you request a sea view room. The location is great, close to the South Downs and in the center of Woodingdean village. The ample parking was another advantage.

Pleasant staff, easy to find, good parking. Lovely room with coffee pod machine, well-appointed shower room. Comfortable bed, quiet. Food and value excellent. Will definitely return.
